Beeswax has been used for thousands of years, dating back to ancient Egyptian, Greek, Rome, and traditional Chinese medicine. It creates a barrier on the skin to lock moisture in, without clogging pores. Beeswax provides antibacterial, anti-inflammatory properties, and beta-carotene (vitamin A) to skin, making it restorative to bruises, burns, and cracked skin, as well as atopic-dermatitis and psoriasis.
Mineral oil is highly emollient and occlusive, meaning it softens skin and seals in moisture, without clogging pores.
Lavender essential oil is relaxing and comforting to the senses, but also soothing to skin irritation, redness, and inflammation.
