Honey and cinnamon are two foods that have been used for years for their rich flavor and medicinal properties. A publication in Weekly World News, a Canadian magazine, on January 17, 1995 described an extensive list of ailments that honey and cinnamon was said to be the miracle cure for, some of which we’ve listed below. While not all of these claims are scientifically backed, numerous studies have tested and proven the health benefits of honey and cinnamon separately, so one can assume they would be twice as beneficial when combined! Check out this more recent article summarizing the scoop about honey and cinnamon for health.
Arthritis: 1 cup of hot water + 2 teaspoons of honey + 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder taken daily, morning and night, may help relieve the symptoms of even chronic arthritis.
