Our candles are made with 100% pure beeswax and 100% pure cotton braided wicks. We never add fillers, fragrance, or dyes. Beeswax naturally has the lightly sweet scent of honey. Our honeycomb candle looks like a rolled candle, but it is poured, so it will burn much longer.
Beeswax is the most natural and sustainable wax. It’s produced by bees to make honeycomb. We extract the honey, then melt and filter the wax for purity. It naturally varies in color. With proper burning practices, beeswax is the longest and slowest burning wax, making it dripless. It purifies the air as it burns and never releases harmful chemicals, unlike paraffin wax. Beeswax produces a stunning flame, burning brighter than any other wax at a spectrum similar to the sun!
Beeswax will develop a cloudy haze over time called “bloom.” This is natural and many people like it for its shimmery appearance.
Approximate burn time: 12 hours
For best burn: Trim wick to 1/4” before each use to reduce soot. Allow the candle to burn for approximately 2 hours, until the wax pool has reached the edges of the candle. This prevents tunneling to maximize burn time. Burn in an open space away from drafts.
